Every Soil Bears Not Everything is a retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Glass, Tacoma, WA chronicling our 36 year collaboration. From the curator Linda Tesner: “Throughout these artists' productive careers, Kirkpatrick and Mace have consistently explored seminal themes: principles of "drawing" as incorporated into glass, the metaphoric content of humanity's relationship to nature, and the appropriation of materials to support a visual idea. This exhibition will bring the depth and richness of these foci into a comprehensive overview of their careers.”
